HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

1. CHOOSE YOUR TYPE OF CAR

At Enterprise rent a car you can choose from a large selection of vehicles.' From compact city cars, family SUV's and commercial vans.

2. CHOOSE YOUR COVERAGE

By default, Mini-Lease allows you to travel 2,000 kilometres per month with a damage liability of $3,350 however you are able to upgrade your damage liability and kilometres by upgrading to the top package 

3. RESERVE

Reserve your car directly using the form below or call us on 1800 667 630 or email minilease@enterpriserentacar.com.au and we will gladly assist you to make your booking. Once everything is ready to go we will contact you with your reservation details.

4. GO

Once you have booked your car, we will contact you with the details. We agree where you can pick up the car. You can pick up your car in Any of our participating locations throughout Australia & New Zealand.

KEY BENEFITS

Save on longer rentals

Lease your car from a minimum of 1 month all the way up to 6 months. With no fixed contracts and no finance agreements you have the flexibility to end or modify your lease agreement every 28 days* should your circumstances change.

*Hire periods are in 28 day increments, ending your hire prior to the end of this period will not be eligible for a refund on unused days. 

Freedom to switch vehicles

Don’t like your current car? Need a bigger or smaller one? Swap it! You have the option of changing your vehicle every 28 days. You may in some instances need to swap your car for a newer or comparable model with similar characteristics as we regularly change our fleet. We will contact you in advance should this be the case to work with you on arranging a convenient time to swap your vehicle. We will also contact you monthly to ensure that servicing requirements are kept up and your vehicle is running in peak condition. 

Easy monthly billing

We pre-authorise a security deposit of $500 and the first rental payment on your credit card when you collect the car. After that payment is taken automatically every 28 days. When you return the car the deposit will be refunded provided there is no new damage and you have kept under the total kilometre allowance. We accept all major credit and Debit cards. Cash is not accepted for payment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the rental requirements?

In most of our Locations we require a $500 bond(up to $1,000 for local and 1st time renters). We also require a 2nd form of ID with proof of your address.

What does "comparable model with similar characteristics" mean?

As our fleet changes regularly we are unable to guarantee that a specific model of car will be available at any particular time. We ensure that you will never be disadvantaged by ensuring that if this occurs we offer you a car of similar size and features to the one you are currently driving. 

Are the cars new?

Our fleet is updated regularly, Our cars are a maximum of 12 months old and will often be new. 

Are there any age restrictions to a mini-lease with Enterprise?

You must be at least 21 years old and have held your Drivers licence for at least one year. If you are under the age of 25, a young drivers fee of $329/month will apply to your rental. This works out to less than $11/day.

Note: You must be a minimum of 30 years of age within the ACT to be part of this program.

Can anyone drive the car?

It must be the person who rents the car or is an authorised additional driver list on the mini-lease contract. 

What happens if i exceed my kilometre limit?

If you exceed the kilometre limit on your rental contract we will charge a fee of $0.5/kilometre +GST

Will i get a refund if I use less kilometres than on my agreement?

The kilometre limits are a maximum amount of kilometres allowed before excess charges apply. Should you drive less than your allowance we do not provide any refunds. 

I would like to return the car early. What do I do?

Contact our team to advise of your new return date and we will amend your contract. As your agreement Is issued on a monthly basis we do not refund for early return prior to the end of the month however at the end of the month you can finalise your rental with one day’s notice. 

I would like another car. What do I do?

 At the end of each month you are free to change your car, simply contact us so we can arrange that for you. Should you wish to go into a larger or smaller vehicle than the one you are currently in the price would simply be adjusted to the rate for your new vehicle. If you just want to try out a different model of car in the same class the price would stay the same. 

Do I get my deposit back after I return the car?

As we hold your deposit as a pre-authorisation, on return of the vehicle the authorisation is released and voided. Generally you will see the amount back in your account within 10 business days, however in some circumstances it may take longer. We are unable to speed up the voiding of the preauthorisation. If you experience any issues it is best to contact your bank directly.

What do I need to bring when I collect my car?

You will need your current Drivers Licence (Digital Licences are not accepted at this time), A recent utility bill so that we can verify your address and a Debit or Credit Card to pay for your hire. We are unable to accept Cash, Prepaid Credit Cards or EFTPOS cards.

Can I use my car for rideshare?

Unfortunately our vehicles are unable to be used to drive for rideshare services at this point in time. 

I have emerald club. Do I still get points?

Yes. So long as you have your Emerald club number and provide it to a member of our team, we will attach it to your booking so you are able to benefit from both programs.
