The essential items you will need to bring to an Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch when hiring a vehicle are:
- a valid driving licence
- valid ID
- a credit or debit card
You will also need to prove your age and there may be additional documentation required for international drivers.
We accept all major debit cards except for Maestro, Electron, Solo and pre-paid cards. To hire our 4x4s and premium vehicles, we require a credit card. All cards must have the main driver's name on it.
Our prices may vary because car hire prices are based on various factors such as, vehicle size, seasonality, length of hire, vehicle make, availability and location. Customers are advised to start the booking process to determine the exact price.
You can modify or cancel your reservation via our website. If you prepaid your booking and you cancel 3 days or more before your specified pick-up time you will receive a full refund of the total amount. You can also call your hire branch to extend your reservation.
Our operation will be temporarily closed starting February 1, 2026. There may be a short pause in service in Australia during this transition, but our long‑term commitment to the market remains unchanged. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work toward reopening soon.
